What’s offered here is a Great Bess Houdini package.



All three of these pieces came from Jay Abbott’s scrapbook.



The First item is a Handwritten Signed Letter (approx. 5”x7”) to Jay.



It reads:



"67 Payson Ave City - Dear Jay - Thanks dear for your card, I’m surprised however - I did write you and asked you to come to me at my T shop - Glen comes often - I’m sorry but fear I cannot make your party - you know I’m a very busy and tired business lady. Gave your phone number to a French actress who needed a juvenile - but she could not reach you - do try to run over a moment to see me - there is much I would like to ask you - Lots of Love - Bess -64 West 49th St."



The Second item is a Newspaper Clipping having to do with the Bess’ T Room. Caption reads: "dini’sWidow Opens An Eerie Tea Room". As can be seen from the photo above, The first three letters “Hou” of Houdini’s name are missing. The clipping measures 4 1/4”x5 3/4” and is glued onto what may have been a scrapbook page. Which is good, now it’s firmer and not crumbling.



The Third, and last item, is a One-Of-Kind Photo of Bess with Jay and Anne. It measures 3 1/2”x5 3/4”. Photo shows the three standing in front of a Wonderful Car. The line in the photo (going across Jay) must be a scratch, since the photo isn’t cracked or cut.



I have put this 3-item package (which is all Professionally double matted and framed) together, since they all came from Jay Abbott’s scrap book and had to do with Bess, Jay and the T- Room.



Great content and theme.



If this were a Houdini Photo, Handwritten Signed Letter and Newspaper Clipping, it would be worth many THOUSANDS of Dollars.



Don’t under estimate the value of Bess’ material.
