"Although doing magic with livestock (doves, rabbits etc...) seems to be a dying art, I will always LOVE this "branch" of magic. I think one of the contributing factors for the decline in interest in this category, is there are very FEW new items made for this kind of magic production. Year after year I see the same OLD props and illusions that have been around for centuries (literally). I decided it was time to come up with some NEW magic and see if maybe I could breath some new life into the art of livestock production."
"As you've probably already noticed, I am very fond of the 'Asian' or 'Oriental' style props. Of course many of us have seen and been amazed with one of Magic's most well known Oriental designers, Okito, who's world renown beautiful props have tantelized the salavary glands of most collector's and magicians alike. I will admit that I too am a big fan of Okito's work and he is one of the many great magic makers who have inspired me. I promised myself though that I would NEVER copy or mimick this style of design as so many other people have done. I want my magic to have a UNIQUE and PERSONAL style that can ONLY BE A PETER AUSTIN ORIGINAL."
